Strawberry Banana Ice Cream

Strawberry Banana Ice Cream (Raw, Fruit-Sweetened, & Free From: dairy, gluten & grains, nuts, oils, and refined sugar)

Nice cream. Nana ice cream. Banana ice cream. Instant ice cream… One of my absolute favorite treats in the world. I don’t think a day passes when I don’t have nice cream in some form. Even when it’s -35C outside, I still manage to sneak it in — even if it means snuggling with a bowl of ice cream by the fire place. So I decided to share some of the variations I enjoy it in here as well, starting with this super simple strawberry banana ice cream.

Why am I loving nice cream so much? Well it’s super easy for starters. It makes a wonderful fruity breakfast bowl, a vehicle for all kinds of fun flavor experiments and improvising… It’s light & raw, and so requires no waiting over a stove (I like porridge too, but nice cream typically wins for that reason). And it’s like having dessert for breakfast (or a snack), only entirely wholesomely. And really, it’s just plain delicious.

P.S. If this recipe looks familiar to you (and if you’ve been following my IG page since its wee beginnings), you’re not mistaken. I’ve decided to share some old favorite quick recipes from Instagram on here — it seemed sad to just let them be buried away waaaaay back in the feed where no-one will ever find them or make them. So bringing these a few of these little gems back to the forefront.
