A wholesome and refreshing drink, made from an infusion of water with curcumin root, fresh lemon, and a hint of maple syrup.
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1” fresh turmeric root (curcumin), rough chopped
- 2 tsp – 1 tbsp dark maple syrup (or more or less, to taste)
- Place the lemon and turmeric root into a 24oz mason jar*. Cover with water. Refrigerate overnight.
- When ready to drink, add maple syrup to taste, stir and enjoy!
*I used a 16 oz Atlas Mazon Jar (pictured), which when filled all the way to the top actually fits 24 oz. I fill mine way up to the top for this recipe. However, you can use a larger or smaller jar to suit your needs, and simply increase or decrease the number of ingredients to the jar size.
