The other day rose water made its way into my pineapple raspberry smoothie and made this pretty blush-colored refreshing treat absolutely magical ♥
Rose water is one of my favorite ingredients to play around with — especially if you’re looking to add an unexpected subtle dose of awesome to your treats. I was surprised at how well it paired with pineapple — who knew?! It was an unexpected addition that took my smoothie to a whole new level and even made it blog-worthy {something I normally reserve for Instagram and Facebook :) }
Up until now I’ve been mostly pairing rose water with pistachios {Have you noticed? ;) If not, have a look at this pistachio cake on the right…}. I know it works well with cranberries too. But pairing it with pineapple was a whole new experience — and little mind-blowing at that! Give it a try some time for a change, especially if you have some rose water left over from one of these goodies ;)
Now back to this pretty rose water blush smoothie, here’s how it goes:

You’re welcome, Anne. Glad you enjoyed it and thank you for the feedback :)
O.M.G. is all I can say. I usually don’t leave comments after trying recipes, but this one was insane. SO AMAZING. Truly a drink for the queens/gods. I loved it so much. I’ll be enjoying this by the pool this summer and impressing my friends with it. Thank you SO MUCH!!!

Best feedback ever, Emily! :) So happy you enjoyed it!
This is the most beautiful smoothie I have ever seen!
Thank you so much, Jessica! ♥
What a beautiful, foamy swirl! Whenever I try to mix my smoothies, they just end up completely merging :|
Thank you, Sarah. I know what you mean — sometimes what you intend and what you end up with can be quite different ;) To be honest, I wasn’t aiming to do a swirl here initially — it just sort of happened :) and happened so prettily too… Maybe if I planned it it would never have happened :)
Oh how pretty! It must be delicious! I love the color and the combination of rose water and pineapple sounds exotic! Amazing! – Love, Anna
Thanks so much, Anna ♥ I was so happy to discover that the two flavors pair so well :)
Audrey, I can honestly say that is the most beautiful smoothie I’ve ever seen. But then all of your food is so bright and fresh. I’ve never used rose water in food before, but I might have to give it a try just so I can sip this!
Thanks so much, Brianna! I’m sure you’d love it :)
Audrey, this is such a beautiful smoothie, seriously! I LOVE pink…almost as much as my 3 year old daughter does, lol! But I have never tried rose water and now you’ve totally got me intrigued to get some…I’m so curious now. This looks so gorgeous, light and refreshing!
I bet your girl would love this, Brandi :) — what three year old wouldn’t? ;)
Thank you! ♥
oooo. This looks gorgeous (as usual !) I have never played around with rose water but would love to! I only had a rose water drink one time when I went to a middle eastern restaurant and it was so yummy. Love the pineapple juice too. So yummy!
Those middle eastern restaurants know what they’re doing, that’s for sure :) That’s where I got hooked on it in the first place. Also some Indian dishes use it quite well. It’s a wonderful flavor and adds a lot of depth to things when in its element.
Pretty, swirly, and sweet, I love it <3
Thanks, Natalie ♥ Looks a lot like your strawberry lemonade pie — just had a peek — Oh, the synchronicity :)
This sounds fantastic, I love the delicate taste of rosewater!
Me too, Sylvie. One of the best of delicate flavors ♥
You KNOW how I feel about rose water Audrey and I love the look and sound of this smoothie. Hurry back to social media world, I miss our daily interactions. xo
Me too! I’m not fully back yet, but trying to wiggle my way back in ;)
This is such a beautiful smoothie Audrey – the colours are so pretty and I love the raspberry and pineapple combination. It sounds so refreshing! The rose water addition sounds amazing too, I’ve never really used it before but I’m definitely inspired to now. I love it!

Thanks Harriet. I think you’ll love rose water once you play around with it — it’s amazing. Though raspberries and pineapple on their own are quite refreshing too :)
ooh that looks so yummy!!
Thanks so much, Sofia ♥
Oh this is so pretty! And now that we’re in summer I am all about refreshing, cool drinks and smoothies. Definitely going to have to try this one! P.S. I’ve really missed new posts from you while you’ve away, but I hope you’re having a wonderful time :)
Thanks so much, Melissa! I know, I wish I had more time while traveling to keep up with things. But also, I’ve been working on my book, so there’s more to my quietness lately than meets the eye ;)
I think this is the most beautiful smoothie I’ve ever seen! So pretty <3 Pink and pineapple and rose….this one's for the girls!
Yep, totally :) ♥
